Uruguay is a country of birds because, in the native language, it means 'River of the painted birds'. A great variety of birds fly over the undulating and natural fields intermingled with small rivers that run into the Río de la Plata, on the South Atlantic Ocean.
Our family vineyards, located just 25 km away from the sea, are refreshed by a cool maritime breeze which moderates daytime temperature and matures the grapes elegantly.
